Since the first Mass at St. Jude Parish was celebrated on August 11, 1962, in the southwest wing of St. Jude School, much growth has occurred. Not only has the church and community center been built, the number of parishioners has grown from 300 families to 1,600 families.
Throughout the years, St. Jude Parish has been blessed with eight pastors, each bringing a special set of knowledge, skills and talents to the Parish. The former pastors and the years of their service are:
Father Richard Krapfl: 1962 - 1968
Father John Gregory: 1968 - 1976
Father Eugene Kutsch: 1976 - 1987
Father Donald Bruggeman: 1987 - 1999
Father Richard Ament: 1999 - 2005
Father Mark Reasoner: 2005 - 2018
Father Mark Murphy: 2018 - 2022
Father Nicholas March: 2022 - present
