Glenn Johnson started the Cedar Rapids Blue Devils—a registered nonprofit organization (No. 239089)—in 1990 as the “ Cedar Rapids Eby’s.” After coaching his son in baseball, he realized the amount of girls’softball teams in the greater Cedar Rapids area were lacking. Word spread, the organization grew to multiple teams and today—26 years later—it’s recognized as one of the premier youth softball clubs in Eastern Iowa.

With the goal to maintain and build upon a tradition of commitment and character in mind, the Cedar Rapids Blue Devils embrace the same core values today as they did when they first began.
