Early, In-Person Voting Locations October 5th - Nov 2nd MASKS REQUIRED *Curbside Option The Linn County Auditor's Office will offer five early voting locations during the dates and times listed below: 823 3" St SW, Cedar Rapids (near the Jean Oxley Linn County Public Service Center), Mondays through Fridays, October 5 - November 2 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, October 24 & Saturday, October 31 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Lindale Mall Food Court, 4444 1" Ave NE, Cedar Rapids Due to popular demand, this location has been extended through October 31. Tuesdays through Saturdays, October 6 - October 31 from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. "How curbside voting works I AM UNABLE TO LEAVE MY CAR. CAN SOMEONE BRING A BALLOT TO MY CAR? Yes! If you are unable to enter the building where the polling place is located because of disability or other concerns, an election official will come to your car. An election official collects the voter's ID, locates the correct ballot, and brings a ballot, a secrecy folder, and an absentee ballot affidavit envelope to the voter's car. The voter fills out the ballot, places it in the secrecy folder and envelope, seals it, signs it, and deposits it in the absentee ballot drop box.
