NAMI Family-to-Family Helping Families Understand-and Cope-with Mental Illness If you have an adult family member living with serious mental illness, that can upend your life, too. That's why NAMI-National Alliance on Mental Illness- created NAMI Family-to-Family. It's a free, weekly, eight-session program that talks about mental illnesses, treatments, medications and how they affect the brain, communication, setting limits, self-care, and more. NAMI Family-to-Family is presented by family members with lived experience- people who have "been there." NAMI Linn County will offer NAMI Family-to-Family at 6 p.m. Mondays beginning Sept. 11 at the Ecumenical Community Center, 601 Second Ave. SE. We offer an online option as well.
