Happy Birtbaday! Carol was born in Oelwein and lived in several lowa towns. Her father told her to take business courses and she'd never be without a job. Carol heeded his advice and went to work in an office soon after she graduated from high school in Cedar Rapids. Carol met Jerry, her first husband, in church. When he joined the Air Force, they moved to New Haven, CT, where he studied Chinese for a year before they deployed to Taiwan in 1961. Returning to the States in 1965, Jerry pursued a degree in law while Carol worked at lowa Midland Supply. Jerry died in 1998 at Lake Okoboji, their favorite vacation spot. The couple had four daughters, Jeri, Middleton, NJ; Kim, Clear Lake, IA; Alison, Farmington, MN; and Stacie, Portland, OR. There are 11 grandchildren. Carol Stolba January 29 Carol married Leo Stolba in 1998, and he died in 2013. She moved to Keystone Cedars this year. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAROL!
