Hills & Dales was founded in 1973 by Elaine Barwick to care for her son who had significant disabilities. The organization currently serves and supports individuals from 17 counties throughout Eastern Iowa. Services occur at our Residential Center, in an individual’s home, or at the Hills & Dales Community Center. The mission of Hills & Dales is to build meaningful lives for individuals with disabilities by offering services that support the whole person and enhance community inclusion.
