Bob's Automotive was opened in a small rented garage in 1983, and in 1984 moved to its present location in the Fairfield Industrial Park. Bob was born and raised in Fairfield, and Mary in Richland, so they are both from Southeast lowa, and love Fairfield, as they have shown through their community involvement over all those years. They have been involved in the Fairfield Chamber, Fairfield Lions Club, Elks Club, and have been supporters of the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center, FEDA, Fairfield Trojans and Booster Club and so many more. Bob's Automotive and their son Clint, who came home to be a part of the business in 2011, have enjoyed living in this community and will continue to support this community in many ways.
