The Auditor's office in Johnson County issues accounts payable and payroll, produces monthly expenditure, revenue, and payroll reports, keeps detailed ledgers for each of the various county funds, and performs other accounting functions for Johnson County. Divisions - Elections-Voter Registration: The Auditor's Office is responsible for administering all local, state and federal elections held in Johnson County, as well as maintaining the county's voter registration records. Minutes & Agendas: Minutes of formal meetings are posted upon Board approval and include a summary of the official actions and votes taken, public hearing proceedings, and text of resolutions, ordinances, and proclamations. Minutes of informal meetings are posted upon completion. Real Estate: The Auditor's Office maintains records of current property ownership within Johnson County for taxation purposes.
