This semester, the University of Iowa campus is alive with brilliant, diverse, eclectic artistry celebrating students, faculty, and staff across the performing arts. LOOKING BACK Friday, March 29 Hancher Auditorium MARTHA GRAHAM DANCE COMPANY GRAHAM100 PRESENTED BY NHR AUDITORIAM MITH SUPPORT FROM DEPARTMENT OF DANCE Dance students thrilled the audience as they took to the Hancher stage as part of a performance by the iconic Martha Graham Dance Company. Still to come: Theatre Arts students will bring a beautiful play to life under the direction of Professor Caroline Clay, and School of Music students will perform a new opera at Hancher with music composed by Professor William Menefield, who will also direct. Each performance is emblematic of what's possible on a campus committed to collaborative, transformational arts experiences for artists and audiences alike.
