The Public Works Dept. is responsible for the city streets (pot hole patching, snow removal, street sweeping, signage, mowing of r.o.w.s), sanitary & storm sewers (cleaning & flushing), cemeteries (selling of lots & grave openings), solid waste (garbage collection & compost site), and airport (ground & hangar maintenance).
