Louisa County Soil & Water Conservation District is looking for a Watershed Soil Conservation Technician to provide technical assistance in Louisa and Washington Counties. This is a full-time, Temporary (3 year) position based out of the Louisa County NRCS office in Wapello. This technician will work in the office and in the field, within the Long Creek, West Fork & Crooked Creek Watershed areas of Louisa County and Washington County, promoting and installing conservation practices, providing engineering surveys, designs, seeding plans and practice checkout for various conservation practices/projects.
