DEPUTY SUPERINTENDENT The Mental Health and Disablites Services division of the lowa Department of Human Services (DHS) is seeking an energetic and forward thinking individual to assist in the leadership and management of the operations of our 24/7 tacility that serves approimately 80 youth. A successtul candidate for this critical Deputy Director role is a tenacious and innovative problem solver nho understands the needs of today's adjudicated youth, nurtures collaborative relationships and responds with appropriate urgency. This pesition serves as the Deputy Director for a secure juvenile facility and reports directly to the institational Superintendent. This position is not an educational administrator. This position wil work with the Institutional Superintendent to provide leadershipand maragement to a team of direct care, administrative and clinical professionals, and will be tesponsible to represent the facility and the department with key stakeholders including, but not imited to, me legislature, juvenile justice. law enforcemert and policy makers.
