A few mammograms and a biopsy later, Darcy was diagnosed with breast cancer. "I was a little nervous but always optimistic, I always knew I would be okay." Armed with her positive attitude and support from her family, Darcy underwent surgery, eight chemo treatments and 33 radiation treatments.
